90% Mental

It has been said that being successful is 90% mental. I enjoy playing golf. I remember going through a slump one time where every shot I hit went right. I tried changing my stance, my grip, and sometimes even a different ball. Nothing seemed to fix my slice. Finally, one day after hitting about a hundred balls on the driving range, an older man who I later found out was a golfing instructor, noticed my frustration. He came over and said, "I don't mean to intrude, but I couldn't help but notice that you are a bit frustrated with your golf swing." He proceeded to tell me that I was THINKING TOO MUCH about what was wrong and what I needed to do to change it. He instructed me to close my eyes and think about the next shot. He told me to envision, swinging the club, making contact, and seeing the ball go where I wanted it to go. After doing so, he again instructed me to step up and hit the shot.
It was unbelievable. I hit one of the best shots I had ever hit in my life. He just smiled and told me. Golf is 90% mental and 10% physical. I took his advice and went through that routine before every shot. I went from shooting in the 90's to shooting in the 70's in no time.

So what does this have to do with being successful? IT IS ALL IN THE MIND. I challenge you to start envisioning exactly what it is you are wanting to achieve, then put forth a little effort and I assure you it will be no time until your vision will become a reality.

Recession. An Event Or A Mindset?

Without question, there is a global economic crisis. And it is an inevitable fact that everyone is being affected or will be affected by it in some way or another. However, how you choose to view the recession will ultimately determine how it will affect you and most importantly, what your outcome will be.

Every book that I have ever read concerning success, prosperity, and having a dream or a vision, all focus on the simple fact that a person's mindset will almost always reproduce the outcome. In fact, scripture even supports this notion. Proverbs tells us that, "As a man thinketh in his heart so is he." My favorite author, Napoleon Hill, stated that, "What the mind can conceive and believe it can achieve." The power of a simple thought is astounding.

At some point or another, we have all woken up on one or more occasions, where something has gone wrong at the start of the day. Sadly, we often tend to let a simple misfortune ruin the whole day. How much more productive and better could the day have been if we would have just dusted off the misfortune and moved on, with an optimistic mindset approach to the rest of the day?

How is this applicable to you, and more importantly your outcome? The answer is simply in the application of what you already know. If you know that your thoughts have the potential to become reality, why not make an effort to focus your thoughts on things you believe are possible or attainable?

If you honestly believe that the recession is as bad and ugly as some would have you to believe, I assure you that your outcome will be just as bad and ugly, if not worse. However, if you dare to believe that in spite of the recession, you can obtain great wealth and prosperity, your reward will be greater than anything you can possibly conceive!

All you need is a strong will, dedication, and a entrepreneurial spirit and the sky is the limit.

What is Recession And What Does It Mean For You?

Everywhere you look, there is doom and gloom. Workers hours are being cut back and some are even being told that they are no longer needed. In recent headlines, there was news of one company that has even gone to the extremes of asking employees to pay back bonuses that were given out over ten years ago. RECESSION, RECESSION, RECESSION. It's everywhere you look. But what does it mean for you?

Some would say, cutbacks, layoffs, drawing out every penny that has been saved over the past ten, twenty, and even thirty years. There are endless stories of workers who have been forced to start new careers after losing their retirement in the stock market or after being on unemployment for months on end and still no sign of recovery.

Others though, are finding answers that have been yielded by this recession, and they are doing it from home! Because of the growing number in workers needing new jobs, and the local economy struggling day in and day out, many have found their recession answers by turning to the global economy that is the Internet.

Lets face it the economy isn't great. Times for some are hard, but recession is really a mindset rather than a series of events. If you think recession means doom and gloom, I assure you, that is exactly what you will get. However, If you dare to believe that it holds the key to obtaining both financial security and prosperity, then you are well on your way to achieving it.
